you need more self-confidence. this is how you get it

One thing this journey has taught me: You can’t build a business unless you become self-confident.

Confidence is not:

• Knowing everything

• Having all the skills

• Not being afraid

Confidence is:

Confident people usually have high self-esteem.

But confidence ≠ self-esteem.

People with high self-esteem know their value as a person. But they still might have low confidence.

• Self-esteem is when you know your worth. 

• Confidence is when you show your worth to the world.

Self-esteem is on the inside. It might not be visible to others. Confidence is on the outside. It shows in your actions.

Low confidence = giving up without even trying.

Best way to get self-confident? Show your skills to the world.

Building something is the best way to do this.

👉 Example:

You study video editing for weeks. Watch tutorials. Master tools. Inspect how others edit their videos.

But you still don’t feel confident in editing. Why?

Because you haven’t collected feedback from the world. Nobody knows about your skills. You don’t know what to do with them.

Here’s an alternative way: edit a simple video right away. Post it online. Bam. Suddenly your skills are out in the world. Perhaps nobody has seen your video. Perhaps it hangs in the void. It doesn’t matter. Your skills are out in the world. You’ve done it once. You can do it again. With each new build, you’ll get better.

Build and show. That’s how you get self-confident.

Plus, it clears a lot of invisible road blocks out of your system:

• “Could I have done it better?”

• ”What would they think?”

• “Is it good enough?”

It. Doesn’t. Matter.

You’ll get better with each build. And that’ what matters.

All those confident people you see around? This is how they built their self-confidence.

And it’s how you build yours.
